In this project we had to follow step-by-step videos walking us through making a helmet on the Autodesk Fusion 360 3D rendering program. Once completing the Formula One Racing helmet, we had to design our own helmet using the tools we learned. The purpose of this project was to teach us a new skill that we will use for our capstone project and in our future college careers.
Concepts
Acceleration:
It is a change in speed over a period of time.
Coefficient of Friction:
It is the measurement of the level of friction embodied in a particular material.
Crumple Zones:
They are areas on an object designed to deform and crumple in an impact as means to absorb the energy of a collision.
Drag:
A term used in fluid dynamics that is sometimes referred to as air resistance or fluid resistance.
Inertia:
When an object remains still or moves in a constant direction at a constant speed.
G-Force:
A force acting on a body as a result of acceleration or gravity.
Friction:
It is a force that resists motion when two objects or surfaces come in contact with each other.
Force:
Causes mass to accelerate, they are influences that cause a change in movement, direction, or shape.
Kinetic Friction:
Occurs when two objects are moving relative to each other and rub together.

One negative part of this project was that I could only work on the 3D modeling at school on slow desktops which meant that it was hard to make a lot of progress in one class period. Another drawback in this project was that the guidance videos were outdated and did not match current version of the program we were working on. This made it harder to navigate the program and it took more time than what we had for this project.
One positive thing in this assignment was that I learned a valuable skill that I will use in college and potentially in my post graduate jobs. Another positive part in this project was that
