Archery
In this project we took a sport that we enjoyed doing and that other San Marin students also enjoyed doing, so that with the help of physics we could become better. The sport that our group chose was archery and the one aspect of the sport that we decided to improve on was the release, we did several calculations to see how we could become better at the sport.

Horizontal Velocity - it is the horizontal velocity of an object. For example in archery the horizontal velocity is the velocity of the without the downward motion.
Vertical Velocity - it is the vertical velocity of an object. For example in archery the vertical velocity is the velocity it takes for the arrow to fall.
Total Velocity - it is the hypotenuse of the vertical and horizontal velocity because the Pythagorean Theorem which allows you to find the velocity accounting for both the horizontal and vertical velocity.
Impulse - it is a certain amount of force applied over a specific amount of time.
Momentum - it is the amount of force that an object has behind it making it harder to stop because it keeps wanting to move.

Reflection
During this project I discovered that one of the things that I was good at was keeping my group focused because sometimes we would just want to shoot arrows, but I keep us on track for a successful video. Another thing that I was able to manage in my group was organization because when we came to class everyday we knew what we were doing.
Through this project I discovered that it was hard for me to help my group edit the video because I had never done anything like that before. Another challenge was that while doing the archery shoots I kept missing the target which meant we spent more time filming but my group members were very understanding.
